The NCREIF index is the NCREIF total return property index calculated to reflect the quarterly total returns % on a compounded basis. Note: see NPPITR for underlying quarterly data. Effective October 1st, 2009, the source had privileged this data and had stopped releasing this data to Bloomberg. In January of 2011, NCREIF agreed they will continue to provide us this data but reserves the right to withdraw this authorization at any time.
