Exports and imports figures are announced twice in a month, 1) preliminary figures on the first day of each month by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) and 2) final figures around the middle week by the Korea Customs Service. 1) The preliminary figures for total export, export growth, total import, import growth and trade balance are covering the entire previous month while the preliminary figures for breakdowns by country and products are covering only the first 20 days of the previous month.2) The final data provide revised entire-month figures for total export, export growth, total import, import growth and trade balance and full-month figures for all country-specific and product- specific breakdowns.*Note: Bloomberg SK export indices update schedule - 1st day of month: preliminary numbers(source: MKE) - middle of month: final numbers with major countries(source: Customs) - end of month or beginning of next month: final numbers with non-major countries (source: KOSIS)-{KOEXTOT Index DES} is a same ticker as {KOETEA0 Index DES}
