Rate Profile Information for ITEMUNES

The new labour survey is published on a quarterly basis, beginning as of 28 September 2004. It is compiled continuously on a weekly basis throughout each quarter. Employed people are defined as being above the age of 15 and who, in the past week, have: -worked at least an hour of paid work -worked an hour of unpaid work in their family business -been away from work for less than three months (or more if they receive more than 50% of their pay) Jobseekers are defined as unemployed people between the ages of 15 and 74, who have: -actively looked for work in the past 30 days and would be available to work within the next two weeks -are due to start a new job (or become self-employed) within three months from the survey date and would be prepared to start in the next two weeks.
