New indicies ISCPINM & ISCPINSA with a base year of 2008=100 have now replaced the 2006=100 index. Israel CPI is the measure of the change in prices of a fixed basket of consumption goods and services. These consumption goods and services are classified into 10 major groups. The weighting of these goods is dependant on the Household Expenditure Surveys (HES) which is conducted annually. The index is non-seasonally adjusted, with a base year, 2006=100. This is the index for all items.
