Ireland Statictics Changed their reference year from 2010 to 2011 (in June, 2012). Gross Domestic Product, Chain Linked 2011 Prices, Seasonaly Adjusted. From Q1 2012 Ireland GDP release is published based on Nace Rev. 2 classification system. This replaces the national classification system which was used up to now. The overall effect on the tables has been that the "Distribution, transport, software and communications sector" accounts now for a much larger share of the total GVA of the economy than heretofore while the sectors classified as "Industry" and "Other Services" account for a lower share. All historical values had been revised accordingly.
