These results show the weekly Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index among Republicans. The Bloomberg CCI is based on Americans' ratings of the national economy, the buying climate and their personal finances, reported in a four-week rolling average of 1,000 random-sample telephone interviews. Conducted continuously since late 1985, the Index is produced by Langer Research Associates of New York, with field work by SSRS/Social Science Research Solutions of Media, Pa.
