The Monthly Manufacturing Survey (Encuesta Mensual Manufacturera) is a survey conducted among industrial establishments with 10 or more employees and/or 60 million COP (Base=1997) or more of total yearly production value. It was designed in order to estimate short-term changes within the manufacturing sector, via variables such as employment indices, wages paid in the sector, worked hours, production and sales. ** COIP sector is presented as a percent change (monthly, non-cumulative figure subject to availability from the source). ** This index does not include the product of the coffee processing industry as part of the total calculations.
