Beth Mazzeo

Beth Mazzeo is the global head of Bloomberg’s Data Products division and is a member of Bloomberg’s Management Committee.

Mazzeo is responsible for several global business units including all of Bloomberg’s data products including Global Data, Data Acquisitions and Data Solutions, which provide the fastest, most comprehensive and highest quality financial data to clients globally. She also oversees the Bloomberg Valuation Service, which offers independent, transparent and defensible valuations across a broad spectrum of asset classes and financial instruments; Bloomberg Law, legal research integrated with search technology, legal content, company and client information and proprietary news; and Bloomberg New Energy Finance, which provides information and analysis of clean energy, low carbon technologies and the carbon markets.

At Bloomberg since 1986, Mazzeo was instrumental in developing Bloomberg’s trading system, Bloomberg Tradebook, and additional trading applications. She helped build Bloomberg’s contributed pricing product, then headed the global data department, where she revolutionized the methods and technology Bloomberg uses for processing data. In 2008, she was made head of all Bloomberg data products globally.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mazzeo worked for financial services firm Integrated Resources. She began her career on the syndicate desk of CM&M Securities, a division of Carroll, McEntee and McGinley.

Mazzeo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Villanova School of Business and serves on the university’s Dean’s Advisory Council.
