Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican counterpart Donald Trump faced off in the second presidential debate of 2016 at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. In a sign of how bitter the campaign has become, the two did not shake hands at the beginning of the debate. Trump dismissed his sexually aggressive comments in a 2005 recording as “locker room talk,” before reviving past accusations against former President Bill Clinton. They engaged in testy exchanges over e-mails, Obamacare and Syria. It seems Clinton may have got the better of Trump, with fifty-seven percent of debate watchers in a CNN/ORC poll saying the former secretary of state won.
