Clinton Backs Corn-Based Fuel in Rural Aid Plan Released in Iowa

(Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will announce her “Plan for a Vibrant Rural America” in Iowa today, a day after Agriculture Sec. Tom Vilsack endorsed her for 2016.

* Proposal would strengthen the Renewable Fuels Standard and

increase the number of companies investing in rural

businesses, according to a fact sheet released by the

campaign

* Other proposals include simplified regulations for

community banks and boosting farm income through a
