Monmouth University Poll of Republican voters nationwide shows Jeb Bush and Donald Trump increased support since June while Chris Christie’s support has fallen.
- Bush has most support for GOP nomination with 15%, up 6 points, with Trump behind him with 13%, up 11 points
- Ted Cruz in third with 9%; followed by Scott Walker and Mike Huckabee at 7%, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and Rand Paul at 6%
- Christie has 2% support, down from 4% in June, placing him on the bubble for inclusion in first presidential debate next month
- Republican presidential poll surveyed 336 registered voters who identify as Republican or lean toward Republican party from July 9-12 with +/- 5.4 ppt margin of error
