House Select Cmte on Benghazi releases subpoena to former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton from March 4 requesting her to produce documents relating to Libya on personal e-mail addresses, according to statement.
- Clinton, who’s running for Democratic presidential nomination, said in CNN interview yesterday that “I’ve never had a subpoena”
- Cmte says it subpoenaed Clinton after it became aware of “her exclusive use of personal e-mail” and that State Dept wasn’t custodian of e-mail
- Chairman Trey Gowdy says in statement that he hasn’t sought to make subpoenas public “but after Secretary Clinton falsely claimed the committee did not subpoena her, I have no choice in order to correct the inaccuracy”
