Representative Aaron Schock, an Illinois Republican, has been living it up in Argentina, tangoing on the streets of Buenos Aires and hiking glaciers in Patagonia.
And thanks to his Instagram account, we can all be jealous.
The three-term representative is a well-known fan of the photo app. The New York Times profiled his account earlier this year, writing:
“Perhaps more so than any of his colleagues on Capitol Hill, [Schock] has cultivated a truly envious persona on the popular photo-sharing service. There he is sitting in the front row at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas; seeing Justin Timberlake at the Verizon Center in Washington; and skiing in Utah, skiing in Vail, skiing in Jackson Hole. ... The photos of him shirtless have garnered the most attention. Never shy about peeling off his clothes, as he did for Men’s Health a few years back, Mr. Schock has posted shots of himself surfing in Hawaii and sliding down a sand dune on a wooden plank and splashing into the water.
“'My congressman is like a thousand years old and never does stuff like this,' one admirer wrote.”
