Yen’s Slump Too Little Too Late to Halt Japan Inc.’s Move Abroad

Steam rises from a JFE Steel Corp. plant in Chiba City, Japan. JFE is considering of building an integrated steel mill in Vietnam, it’s first outside Japan, as part of a push to be closer to customers in markets where demand is surging for Japanese cars and other products, according to Kaoru Ando, a company spokesman.
