Peace Arch

Aerial view of the U.S. Peace Arch Port of Entry at the border between British Columbia, Canada, and Blaine, Washington. The border structure draws a straight, thin line in the softly rolling landscaped at the edge of Semiahoo Bay. Architect Bohlin Cywinski Jackson arranged the roadways across the border to gracefully skirt the Peace Arch, a memorial to the close ties between the U. S. and Canada.
