The interior of the Muriel Kauffman Theater at the Kaufman Center for the Performing Arts. Architect Moshe Safdie shaped the 1,800-seat hall into a traditional horseshoe to bring patrons close to the proscenium stage shared by the Kansas City Ballet and the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.
