Manhattan Apartment Listings Plunge in Sign Sale Prices to Climb

The William Beaver House in Manhattan's Financial District was mostly empty in 2010 two years after the 47-story apartment block was constructed. It's now almost 90 percent occupied after owner CIM Group converted the units to luxury rentals costing as much as $8,100 a month.
