India’s Rupee Set for Worst Month Since 1992 on Slowdown Concern

The rupee plunged 9.7 percent this month to 66.88 per dollar as of 10:53 a.m. in Mumbai, according to prices from local banks compiled by Bloomberg. This is the biggest drop since March 1992 and the steepest among 78 global currencies tracked by Bloomberg.
