Hyun Sees Won Pressured Higher by South Korea External Surplus

The won is trading at about 1115 per dollar, about 4.8 percent above its five-year average rate. South Korea’s currency has weakened about 4.6 percent against the dollar this year, while the Indian rupee has tumbled about 20 percent and the Brazilian real has declined about 13 percent.
