German Eagle Flourishes as Farm Spill Boosts Fish It Feeds On

The white-tailed eagle, which has a wingspan of up to 2.5 meters, isn’t the only beneficiary of the shift to bio-gas, as fish-eating ospreys and cormorants as well as crane populations also gain from the increased use of fertilizers and crop sprays on German farmlands.
