Frozen RNA Samples Sit in a Freezer in New York

Frozen RNA samples are displayed in a freezer at the New York Genome Center in New York. Long overshadowed by DNA, its more famous counterpart, RNA - or ribonucleic acid - is now thought to hold the potential to treat diseases from spinal muscular atrophy to hepatitis C to cancer.
