Deutsche Bank AG, continental Europe's biggest bank, will reduce its 1.58 trillion-euro balance sheet by 16 percent to meet the stricter leverage standards suggested by the Basel Committee by changing the way it accounts for derivatives and winding down a 73 billion-euro portfolio of assets, it said on July 30.
