"A portrait of a Lady," traditionally identified as Queen Elizabeth I, though more probably Catherine Carey, Countess of Nottingham. Painted by an English artist in about 1600, it is among the items being offered by Chrisitie's International in its Sept. 13 to Sept. 15 auction of the contents of Cowdray Park in Sussex.
