Vonnie Quinn
Vonnie Quinn is co-host of The Hays Advantage and a markets reporter for Bloomberg Radio. Based in New York City, Quinn joined Bloomberg in 2006.
After studying at University College Cork, the Sorbonne and the Université de Geneve, Quinn won the National University of Ireland's Traveling Studentship award for her master's thesis on Baudelaire. She turned down the award – and the offer of a Ph.D place at Cambridge University – in order to pursue journalism.
Quinn received an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University, on a full scholarship from the Lorana Sullivan Foundation. While at Columbia, she was awarded the ABC Frank Reynolds fellowship and a New York Financial Writers' Association scholarship for her analytical features on The Coca-Cola Company and The Gap, Inc.
Vonnie Quinn is fluent in German, French and Irish. A former world champion Irish dancer, she holds performance diplomas in violin, piano, harp, and cathedral organ.
