Tom Keene
Tom Keene is an editor-at-large at Bloomberg News, a host on Bloomberg Radio, and anchor of "Surveillance Midday" on Bloomberg Television.
On Bloomberg Radio, Keene serves as co-host of “Bloomberg Surveillance” with Ken Prewitt, airing weekdays from 7-10am ET on WBBR 1130, XM/Sirius channels 113 and the Bloomberg Radio+ app for iPhone. The program features interviews with respected economists, analysts, authors, and politicians discussing the day's top news in economics, finance, and investment.
Keene also hosts "Surveillance Midday," airing on Bloomberg Television from 12-1 pm ET. The daily program provides an entertaining, engaging hour of thoughtful discussion among top strategists and analysts, for global Wall Street and business leaders.
In addition to his radio responsibilities, Keene provides economic and investment perspective to Bloomberg Television and to Bloomberg’s various news divisions. Keene also founded the “Chart of the Day” article, available on the Bloomberg Professional Service.
Keene is editor of “Flying on One Engine: The Bloomberg Book of Master Market Economists,” published in 2005. (Two chapters appeared in the CFA Institute curriculum.)
Tom Keene is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, and is enrolled in courses at the external programme of the London School of Economics & Political Science. Keene is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute, the National Association for Business Economics, and the Economic Club of New York.
