Stephen Engle

Stephen Engle is an award winning Hong Kong-based reporter for Bloomberg Television, covering breaking news on the business and financial markets of greater China and the rest of Asia. Engle brings more than twenty years of experience reporting on top business, technology and general news for audiences across the Asia-Pacific region.

Throughout his career in broadcast journalism, Engle has served as an anchor, reporter and producer based in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tapei and Tokyo. He has covered visits to Asia by Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama and interviewed top political leaders including Nobel Peace Laureates Aung San Suu Kyi and Kim Dae-Jung, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Taiwan's Ma Ying-jeou and Chen Shui-bian, the U.K.'s Tony Blair and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
