Linda Yueh

Linda Yueh is a London-based economics correspondent for Bloomberg Television. She provides incisive coverage and economic analysis of breaking news stories as well as expert commentary and insight into business, political and macroeconomic trends.

Since joining Bloomberg in September 2010, Yueh has interviewed numerous top policymakers and economists including Chair of the European Finance Ministers and Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker, UK Business Secretary Vince Cable, European Central Bank Council Member Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell, Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee member Andrew Sentance, former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling, former Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou, Ireland's Central Bank Governor Patrick Honohan, former Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee members Kate Barker and David Blanchflower, Goldman Sachs economist Jim O'Neill, Adam Farkas, Executive Director of the European Banking Association and Angela Knight, Chief Executive of the British Banker's Society.

An internationally-recognized economist, speaker, author and business advisor, Yueh is a fellow in economics at Oxford University. In addition, Yueh is an associate of the London School of Economics and Political Science's Centre for Economic Performance as well as of the IDEAS: International Affairs, Diplomacy & Strategy research centre. She is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

In her role as an economist, Yueh has taught courses at Oxford University and London Business School. She previously worked as an international corporate lawyer with the New York-based law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

Yueh served as a special advisor to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos and currently sits on the WEF's Global Agenda Council on Energy Security. In addition, she has been a consultant and expert advisor for a number of international organizations and governments.

Yueh holds degrees from Yale, Harvard, New York University and Oxford Universities. She earned her PhD (DPhil) in economics from Oxford University.
