Caroline Hyde

Caroline Hyde is a London-based markets reporter for Bloomberg Television, covering equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities.

Hyde, who joined Bloomberg in 2008, previously covered the European debt markets for Bloomberg News as a corporate finance reporter, focusing on company loans and bonds as well as sovereign debt. She has covered the freeze in the European loan market following the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the European sovereign debt crisis, breaking news on the sales and performance of government bonds from Greece ahead of its bailout.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Hyde worked in public relations for London's Moorgate Group, where she was a debt market specialist, managing campaigns for clients including Standard & Poor's, Lloyds Banking Group and Natixis Bleichroeder.

Hyde holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
