Cali Carlin
Cali Carlin is a reporter for Bloomberg Television. Based in New York City, Carlin covers global retail, business and consumer news and provides market updates for Bloomberg Television's worldwide audience.
Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2010, Carlin served as an anchor, reporter and producer for CBS Interactive. She hosted videos for 60Minutes.com as well as a live weekly webcast in conjunction with "The Early Show Saturday Edition." Carlin also covered the 2008 Democratic National Convention and the inauguration of President Obama for CBS Interactive.
Earlier in her career, Carlin worked as an anchor and reporter at Channel One News in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. There, she covered a wide range of news stories and interviewed former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former First Lady Laura Bush and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, among others.
Carlin wrote a paper for The Brookings Institution entitled “The Young Vote: Engaging America’s Youth in the 2008 Elections and beyond.” She holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
