NEW YORK — Bloomberg News today published the first global daily ranking of billionaires, reporting that Carlos Slim is the world’s wealthiest person with a net worth $68.5 billion as of Friday, Mar. 2.
Bill Gates ranks second on the list with a net worth of $62.4 billion, followed by Warren Buffett at $43.8 billion, Ingvar Kamprad at $42.5 billion and LVMH’s Bernard Arnault at $42.3 billion.
