NEW YORK -- September 16, 2010

Following the busiest month for M&A since September 2008, with a total of $231
billion worth of deals, Bloomberg will convene Wall Street’s most influential
to discuss what this surge means for the M&A outlook, as well as trends in IPO
and LBO activity at the Bloomberg Dealmakers Summit.

The full-day program, being held on September 30, 2010 at The Morgan Library
in New York City, will examine the emerging environment for dealmaking, just
three years after the age of the “mega-buyout” came to a crashing halt with
the financial crisis. Now, with trillions of dollars on corporate balance
sheets, dealmaking in the U.S., Europe and Asia is once again picking-up.

To address the global outlook for dealmaking, as well as acquisition
strategies across a variety of industries, Bloomberg has brought together some
of Wall Street’s most well-known rainmakers and more, including:

  * Roger C. Altman, Founder and Chairman, Evercore Partners
  * H. Rodgin Cohen, Partner, Sullivan & Cromwell
  * Jim Davidson, Co-Founder & Co-CEO, Silver Lake
  * Tony James, President and COO, The Blackstone Group
  * Robert A. Kindler, Vice Chairman and Global Head of Mergers &
