Varoufakis's Plan Was to Create Liquidity: Lamont
39:35 - Former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis's preparation earlier this year to respond to a possible closure of Greek banks was "a plan for liquidity, it wasn't a plan to leave the euro," according to former U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Norman Lamont. Lamont, who participated in a conference call with Varoufakis on July 16 in which the Greek politician disclosed details of his preparations, spoke in an interview with Francine Lacqua and Manus Cranny on Bloomberg's "The Pulse."
