Google Brings Free Wi-Fi to New York City's Chelsea

Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, a New York Democrat, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Dan Biederman, president of Chelsea Improvement Co. speak at a news conference in Manhattan about Google Inc.'s plan to offer free wireless Internet access in parts of New York's Chelsea neighborhood, creating the largest public outdoor network in the city.
