Apple Expected to Unveil Mini iPad October 23

Oct. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Betty Lu reports that Apple Inc. may unveil a smaller version of the iPad at an event on Oct. 23, according to a person familiar with the matter. The new model will have a screen that’s 7 inches to 8 inches diagonally, less than the current 9.7-inch version, people familiar with the designs said in July. She speaks on Bloomberg Television's "In The Loop."
