Can Loro Piana's Luxury Quality Survive as Part of LVMH?
27:01 - Luxury-goods maker Loro Piana has been trading wool and fabrics since the early 1800s and is well known in the industry for producing high quality rare cashmere fashion. The family sold 80% of the company to French luxury-goods maker LVMH in 2013 but it's still at the helm. Still, in the next few months the family's involvement might change. Bloomberg spoke exclusively to Pier Luigi Loro Piana, deputy chairman of the company, on the occasion of LVMH's showcase 'Journées Particulieres.'
