Strong Storm Strikes Northeast With Snow, High Surf

March 8 (Bloomberg) -- A storm system which began in the U.S. Plains and moved across the Midwest earlier this week is battering the New England coast. On Plum Island, north of Boston, waves knocked one home off its foundation. The Boston area could receive more than 24 inches of snow, the National Weather Service said. (Source: Bloomberg)
