58:13 - The yen fell for the first time this week on prospects Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will push through a fiscal stimulus package exceeding 28 trillion yen ($265 billion). The currency weakened against all 16 major peers after Kyodo reported that Abe said such a program will be approved by Cabinet on Aug. 2, citing his comments at a speech in the southern Japanese city of Fukuoka. The slide spurred broad gains for the U.S. dollar, helping to weaken the Australian and New Zealand currencies.
