After Slimming F-150, Ford Puts Fusion on a Diet

June 4 (Bloomberg) –- Bigger is not always better. Ford is proving that with the launch of the new F-150 pick-up truck. By using aluminum instead of steel the truck has dropped 700 pounds. And the company is going a step further. Ford is experimenting with mixed materials including aluminum and carbon fiber in the new Fusion Concept.
