Jaffe Sees 'A Lot' of IPOs in 2013 'Pipeline'

Mar. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Marc Jaffe, co-chair of the Global Capital Markets Practice Group at Latham & Watkins LLP, talks with Bloomberg Law's Spencer Mazyck about the global outlook for the 2013 IPO market. Jaffe, in this "Rainmakers" episode, also discusses the significance of last year's U.S. initial public offerings for Linn Co LLC and Manchester United Plc, as well as the overall effectiveness of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act. The legislation, which was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 5, 2012, was designed to induce more IPOs by reducing disclosure requirements and restrictions on how firms can advertise for investors.
