Dec. 11 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Representative Chris Van Hollen, the top Democrat on the House Budget Committee, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi speak about a U.S. budget accord reached yesterday that removes the risk of a government shutdown and cuts the deficit by $23 billion. Democratic Representatives Xavier Becerra of California, James Clyburn of South Carolina, and Nita Lowey and Joseph Crowley of New York also speak at the news conference in Washington.
