Navy Drone Takes Historic Test Flight With Fighter Jet

Aug. 20 (Bloomberg) –- Earlier this week, the U.S. Navy conducted an historic first: operating manned and unmanned aircraft together from an aircraft carrier. The test was conducted on the USS Theodore Roosevelt and successfully saw an F/A-18 fighter jet and a a bat-winged X-47B drone take off and land in rapid succession. (Corrects cost.)
