Marine's New Sea Beast: Amphibious Assault Vehicle
July 28 (Bloomberg) –- The U.S Marine Corps are testing a new vehicle, dubbed the UHAC or "Ultra Heavy-Lift Amphibious Connector". It is designed to transport troops and their equipment from ship to shore. The UHAC could be used in the event of an invasion by sea but would also aid in day-to-day missions. (Source: Bloomberg)
