Economist Rupkey Sees 2.1% U.S. GDP Growth in 2012

July 27 (Bloomberg) -- Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, talks about data on second-quarter U.S. economic growth released today. Gross domestic product, the value of all goods and services produced, rose at a 1.5 percent annual rate after a revised 2 percent gain in the prior quarter, Commerce Department figures showed.
