July 26 (Bloomberg) -- Koji Endo, an analyst with Advanced Research Japan in Tokyo, talks about the outlook for Japan's automakers and their South Korean competitors. Nissan led Japanese automakers in reporting higher earnings as the weaker yen gave them an edge over South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co., which posted a drop in profit for a third straight quarter.
