Volvo Ocean Race Charts Round-the-World Course

March 25 (Bloomberg) -- The Volvo Ocean Race is a round-the-world sailing race that competes with the America's Cup for prestige. The nine-month, 38,739-mile course around the globe from Alicante, Spain, to Gothenburg, Sweden, allows only the toughest and most-skilled competitors, winnowing out even Olympic and world champions, according to Knut Frostad, the race's chief executive officer.
