Senate Democrats News Conference on Shutdown, GOP

Sept. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid urges the House of Representatives to pass a stopgap spending measure to avoid a government shutdown Oct. 1 during a news conference in Washington. The Senate earlier passed the bill to avoid a shutdown, sending it back to the House for reconsideration. Sen. Charles Schumer of New York and other party leaders also speak. (Source: Bloomberg)
