US Airways, AMR Boards OK Creating Largest Airline

Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Kari Lundgren reports that after receiving approval from both boards, AMR Corp.’s American Airlines and US Airways Group Inc. are poised to announce an $11 billion merger today that will create the world’s largest carrier and shrink the U.S. industry to three dominant companies.
