Monte Dei Paschi Seeks Plan Approval
16:40 - Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA Chief Executive OfficerMarco Morelli may present the bank’s board on Monday with a new business plan targeting more than 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) in annual profit by 2019, daily Il Messaggero reported. Morelli, who took over last month, is seeking to raise 5 billion euros and the bank has said it’s readying a third share sale in two years, as well as preparing to offload 28 billion euros of bad loans.
