European Stocks Pare Decline as Retailers Climb

European stocks pared their decline as retailers climbed, while companies from Alstom SA to Erste Group Bank AG dropped after selling shares. U.S. index futures gained and Asian shares were little changed.

Abengoa's Bondholders Jumping Ship

They're being told to dump their holdings in the firm or take their chances in an eventual settlement. Abengoa has been teetering on the edge of becoming Spain's biggest corporate bankruptcy.
