April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Sheila Bair discusses U.S. financials and Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s first-quarter earnings. First-quarter net income for the world’s most profitable securities firm rose 7 percent to $2.26 billion, or $4.29 a share. Bair, a senior adviser at Pew Charitable Trusts, also talks about yesterday's bombings at the Boston Marathon. She speaks with Tom Keene and Sara Eisen on Bloomberg Television's "Surveillance."
